While mama was on the other side of the world living it up and pretending she didn't have any cares or responsibilities, the rest of us were stateside.

Henry and papa stayed in South Carolina to go to school and work. Miss Juliet was also abroad visiting her little sister and new niece in England, so it was something of a neighborhood bachelor adventure. Miss Kerri must have felt sympathetic for papa and Mister Tony because she decided to throw a sleepover party. Read all about it here.
Henry also got to go to church with James and Andy. From an email mama got in India from Miss Kerri:
"When we were taking him to church yesterday, I was telling him all that he would be doing including music and he said "I am really good at music. I have a beautiful singing voice." Yes, Henry, you sure do!"
While the boys were down South, JoJo and I were up north enjoying a winter vacation. (We did manage to see a little bit of snow. Jo was so excited!) We spent a week with Grandma and Grandpa Seibert, visiting the Ohio cousins, playing the Great Grandma Wagner and swimming in Bernie and Ruthan's pool. They didn't send any pictures, but Grandma did have Jo saying "kitty," "cookie," "rocky" (as in rocking chair), and "baby" before we left. I'm surprised she didn't learn to say "ice cream" too, because there's a rumor floating around that Grandpa doled it out liberally, even if no one ate their supper. I deny it all.
After a week, we were shipped down to Marion to Grams and PawPaw's house. And I started in on my reign of ridiculous clothes.
I wore my India precious a ton.
And played with PawPaw.

Sadie came over to play and I'm guessing from this face, she is not pleased with my monopoly of accessories.
Sadie got a COSI membership for Christmas so she took us for a visit. for those of you not from central Ohio, COSI is the Center of Science and Industry. It's a hands-on science museum for kids of all ages. Mama and papa both went when they were kids and remember it fondly.
We girls must be getting older because we both played with the same computer and didn't fight!
JoJo was happy as a clam at the water table.
There was also an animal demonstration that included a tarantula. I did not want to take a turn holding it.
Even if I was upset, at least I looked good. While historically, I've only worn dresses, I'm now starting to like wearing skirts. But only if I can wear multiple skirts at once.
