Picnic in the park- June.

It's been such a nice spring down here. It's even already hit 85 degrees, which is a bit much, in our book.
Luckily, when Grandma and Grandpa were here, it wasn't stinking hot yet. So we hit the botanical garden for a picnic.
If you look closely, you can see that mama made me wear pants underneath my dress, but I was not about to let them hamper my style. So as soon is it gets warm enough, I pull those leggings all the way up and let my skinny legs out.
JoJo loves walking on walls, and there are tons of them in South Carolina.
I showed Grandpa all of the beautiful flowers.
And he had to constantly remind me not to pick them.
This way, guys!
And we even managed to get a picture of us girls with Grandma and Grandpa! Mama is usually really bad about taking pictures when we have guests in town.
Then we switched straight over to pictures of Jo in the dress mama made her. (It's just so Georgie.)

By the end of our trip, poor fair-skinned, pasty George was all red from being int he sun and running around. She must get that from the Seibert side. Mama does glow in the heat, either. She just gets sweaty and grumpy.
If we haven't said it before, Georgiana is a ton of fun these days. In January, we wasn't saying anything. Now she's talking up a storm. Mostly, she carries around her shoes and begs "Shoes on!"
And she thinks she can keep up with the big kids. So she's constantly running around after them. And her scraped up legs are showing the wear and tear of climbing up and down the brick steps in our back yard.
She's wonderfully pleasant, but still our fussiest kid. If that girl gets tired, just forget it. She could sleep 6 hours a day if you let her.
Back home, we waited out front for Henry.
And when the boys got off the bus, Jo screamed "John!" and ran and gave him a hug.
