June's birthday party- Jo.

We had another baseball party for June's birthday. This year's theme orange and purple everything. (I'm sure June's told you 1,000 times that purple is her favorite colors.)
We loaded up the van and headed to the baseball field for some pre-game tailgating.

It was 50 degrees, but pretty windy, so we had to bundle up a little.
Luckily, we had cupcakes to keep us warm.
The Turners didn't mind the cold too much.
But the southerners busted out their winter duds.

I mean, look at these people. I have it on good authority that Miss Kerri was wearing long underwear.
Is this appropriate game day apparel?
Getting ready.

On her way out to the first pitch with Papa.
Here's the wind up.

It's a strike!
That is some beautiful form.
Those college boys are good sports.
The best part? There was no Tiger mascot- June's mortal enemy.
June had a lot of admirers for her pitching form and over-the-top uniform.
Including one big brother who greeted her with hugs.
And Junie's best friend Lily.
It wouldn't be a party without the neighborhood gang- who spent the game kung fu fighting.

We had the run of the place.
Henry busted a move during between the innings.
While I adopted a new dad.
Andy took a quick break from the craziness.
Almost 4 looks pretty good on June.
Almost as good as this much dirt looks on me.

  1. I might have had on long underwear and looked awful, but I WASN'T COLD! Although as soon as the sun went down I was the first one to leave!
