February 15-22- Henry.

Let's keep slogging through the last month. Mama's starting to combine posts into a week's worth of pictures, so buckle in.
June anxiously awaited her 4th birthday. Every day she'd wake up and ask if she was 4 yet. Being 4 is a very big deal. And it entitles you to many privileges, like making oyur own lunch.
This actually was entirely of June's doing. She got everything out on her own and made her own sandwich. (And everyone wins, because mama doesn't have to make us lunch and we got to apply the jam as liberally as we wish.)
Apparently, being almost 4 also mean accessorizing.
One day June was supposed to be taking a nap, but instead papa found her in the bathroom decking herself out in all the hairbows she could find.
Notice how the hair twisties are rings and bracelets and the clips are charms on the bracelets?
June and I have reached the age where mama trusts us enough to go outside without constant supervision. Again, a win-win for everyone. Sometimes when John comes over, mama will even make us supper and we can eat outside. (Mama forgot to take pictures, but this weekend, I was playing outside by myself for a very long time. when mama finally came out to check on me, she discovered that I'd taken the hose up over the back wall and completely flooded a section of the back yard. Then I took the power wheels barbie jeep and went mudding through the mud pit. Both the jeep and I were covered in mud. It was awesome.)
Mama was back in training for another half marathon. (She ran the GHS Centennial Swamp Rabbit Trail Half on March 10th in 2:01.20, her fastest time yet.) Poor JoJo is the one who gets carted along for all of the long runs. She tolerates up to about 8 miles, then gets bored of sitting in the stroller.
