On our last day in Kolkata, we stayed in our neighborhood, walking around and stocking up on food to take home.

I'll miss this street most of all.

We snapped a few more pictures.

Then we headed over to Kingkini's parents' house for one last meal. And a meal in which Mrs. Roy just kept pulling out more food and insisting "You will eat this." We snuck out to get our eyebrows threaded and to pick up more snacks.

Then we piled in the taxis to take us to the airport to go home.
Like any picture or video we took, it doesn't do India justice, but I did make one last attempt to capture the thrill of riding in a car in Calcutta.
The traffic was very light that day, so it was as loud or crazy as normal.

This is my last picture from India. Classy.

In Dubai, we got a huge surprise when Aunt Mary, Dan and I were upgraded to business class when we checked in.

I don't know if John, Kingkini and Jenni are speaking to us yet, as they were still back in the cattle car.

If i had to spend 17 hours anywhere, I'm glad it was in my fancy seat with plenty of snacks and drinks.

And when we got tired, our seats fully reclined so we could sleep. I could get used to this.
But all good things come to an end. We had a brief layover in Dallas, ant the appropriate culture shock I think everyone gets when they get to Texas. We left Aunt Jenni, John, Kingkini and Dan behind to fly back to Cincinnati.
I was sad to leave India, but at least the first thing I got to see was comforting Paul Brown Stadium and the Great American Ball Park. We went back to Dayton, arrived at Ryan and Amy's house and I fell asleep at 9pm talking on the phone to Brandon.
It's so great you got all this recorded before you forget the details, Becky! Nice job!
