Three wild and crazy kids- Henry.

After our picnic and climb up the lighthouse, we hit the beach.
I can't believe I never liked swimming before. After this vacation, I'm officially a waterbug.

June only liked to tough the water she could fit in her pail.
Sadie was so enthralled with the people who were being buried in the sand. She begged mama to let her bury mama. Eventually they settled on burying each other's feet.
Papa and I caught some waves.
I only had to come out a few times after swallowing large quantities of seawater. I asked mama "How do fish live in this water? It's disgusting!"
June continued to be cursed with lots of hair and many poorly placed cowlicks that cause all of her hair to grow striaght forward.
This video pretty much sums up the week. Lots of running, yelling, provoking and dirty looks. I like how fast June's little legs move.
Race the waves, Sadie!
Sweet Junnie.
She may look happy here, but she did NOT want to be thrown in the water.
When Sadie wasn't in the water, she was chasing birds on the beach.
Mama says this is her favorite picture. I was mad at Sadie for messing up the race track Idrew in the sand. And Sadie was mad at me for not letting her help.

Here's my race track. I used a stick to make it straight.
Sadie finally settled on drawing her name in the sand.
June just biried her feet on the other side of the beach. She LOVED the beach. We could have ignored her all day long and she would have been happy as a clam.
We got back to the house and took long naps. After my nap, I got up with mama and we read our books together. I made it to book 29 of the Magic Tree house series. Now they're 16 chapters long instead of 10.
We took Georgie to the pool for her first swim ever! She's happy now, but did not like being in the pool.
And June wasn't happy to leave the pool. She liked sitting on the pool steps and periodically getting water up past her belly.
