Back at the beach, we geared up for a long afternoon of so much fun that inevitably ended in almost everyone getting a sunburn. We all knew it was happening, but no one wanted to leave.
We love Hunting Island's beach!
Dash had a great time in the surf, though George refused to get anywhere near the water.
Mama got us these cool SPF 50 swim shirts and I didn't mind wearing mine, so I avoided getting a burn.
Dasher stayed cool in the shade.
Georgie hated the water, but she did have a good time playing in the sand. Good thing she wasn't like me as a baby and none of it ended up in her mouth or eyes.
Remember when Henry used to wear that hat?

Henry climbed to the top of the lighthouse again with PawPaw.
I see Grams and Papa down there!
While Henry was up top, mama had a rare moment of vacation madness and bought us SpongeBob popsicles.
Nothing is better than eating a sticky mess sitting in the shadow of a lighthouse.
Georgie didn't stay awake long enough to get a popsicle for herself.
But she woke up in time for the car ride home.
Mama had to try to keep her from giggling because I was asleep before we left the parking lot.
And Henry didn't make it out of the park. That looks uncomfortable.
