We were due at the ocean for family vacation, but we had to stay in town for one more thing- my's kindergarten graduation!
Good thing Miss Juliet called to ask what we were wearing. Mama was going to send me in shorts and a football jersey. Way to go, mama.
This is my buddy Jaylen. For our class slideshow we both drew that sliding with each other was our favorite part of school.
We all lined up in front and received our diplomas.
When we walked out, mama's two favorite boys (besides me and John, of course) turned up the cute.
I can be cute too.
Eamon, Lance, and Eamon's older brother Shey may be mama's favorites because they all adore Georgie- who was happy to get the attention.
Grrrrr! Why does Blogger do this sometime? I can't get this picture to load not crooked. Bleah.
After a pot-luck that featured a ton of homemade fried chicken, Georgia, Stella and I got out our recorders for an impromptu concert.
I led the first round.
Then we all played. If you can't tell (why wouldn't you be able to tell?), we played "Merrily We Roll Along."
Mama made it through the whole evening without a sappy moment until they turned on a slideshow of the year.
Then John-Boy scooted up to Georgie who was sitting on the floor, scooped her up in his arms and mama really lost it.
We're sure going to miss these kids!
Lance and me.
My great teachers, Mrs. Suhasini and Mrs. Williams.
