Guess what we found on Easter morning?
Per our family tradition, we were allowed to open our bunnies and eat them for breakfast.
As the sugar set in, Henry started to wax philosophical about the easter bunny and the repercussions of capturing him.
But it's totally okay to bite his head off!
Midway through our bunnies were were all feeling pretty goofy.
Henry was the first to finish his bunny. JoJo, who isn't known for eating breakfast, took a break halfway through her bunny, but came back later to finish. And eventually, I tired of playing with my bunny and ate him too.
After lunch, we headed into Pendleton for the Spring Jubilee. In between kettle corn, sweet tea and dancing to the band, mama bought this quilt. She's been wanting it for a while and finally decided to buy it. Now she just needs to decide where to hang it.
We forgot to dye easter eggs, but at least mama remembered to make a lamb cake! We didn't have a traditional easter dinner, but we did have the neighbors over for hamburgers and hot dogs.
Oliver and Natalie isssued a lego challenge of trucks and frogs. And Henry came up with a great submission.

Finally, Jo and I went to a party for our friend McKain. His mom sent over this picture of Jo burying her face in a cupcake. After the snacks, we had a water balloon fight. Georgie didn't really care for getting wet, but loved her bathing suit and refused to take it off. She did manage to get a trip to the grocery store out if it, but eventually mama had to pin her down and wrestle it off of her. I didn't put my suit on, but I did manage to keep up with all the 4 year old boys and their squirt guns.
