After vacation in May, Georgie was inspired by Dasher and tried to start moving around on her own. Mostly it involved scooting slowly in circles on her bottom in a sitting position.
Grandma Seibert did her best to teach her to crawl while we were in Ohio (she did teach me, after all). Georgie got herself up on all fours and grandpa says he even saw her take a few small strides.
But it wasn't until July 2nd that JoJo really got the knack of crawling.
Mama was afraid that crawling would just make things harder, but actually everything has gotten easier. Before, Georgie would cry if anyone walked away from her. Now she can crawl wherever she wants and keep herself occupied for a while.
Her number one toy right now is this ball popper.
And books! Especially if she thinks they night belong to June!
But she still loves mama most of all!
G has her own look, but I see some serious Henry eyes in some of those photos.
