After mama and papa's college reunion weekend, they had to drive back to South Carolina so mama could sneak in some minor laparoscopic surgery before the year ended and her out of pocket max reset. (The surgery went well and mama is back to normal.) Aunt Jenni's Christmas spirit must have hit an all time high because she spared me the 20+ hours in the car and said I could stay another 3 days with her!
Lucky for me, because two doting older cousins are much better than facing backwards in a van for two days.
Aunt Jenni was able to grab a few fleeting moments to herself when she plopped me under the Christmas tree to stare at the lights.
And Evie stepped in often to keep me entertained.
I didn't do much night time sleeping during my stay. Good thing I made up for it by being extra cute during the day. Mama and Aunt Jenni have dubbed it "irritatingly happy." (As in, how can a baby be so happy when she hasn't slept for more than an hour straight all night?!?!)
Thank goodness we visited the Indiana State Museum. You can only look at so many pictures of Larry Bird (the Hick from French Lick) before you fall asleep.
And it wouldn't be a trip to Aunt Jenni's without a token goofy shot. Are these all for me?
Yes!
A big thanks to the whole Taller family for keeping me for 5 days! Mama and papa REALLY appreciate it and even managed to squeeze in a trip to their favorite Japanese restaurant all by themselves. And thanks to Uncle Adam for picking Georgie up and bringing her back to Cleveland so mama and papa didn't have to take a 5 hour detour to Indy.
Should we do this again next year?
