A Super Long Super Wedding Post!- Henry.

Say, who's that well dressed dude?
None other than yours truly (with a dapper Uncle Jim). So why is everyone dressed up?

Just because our cousin, Mister John was marrying the lovely Miss Kingkini!
And I was in the wedding! I was the ring bearer, though I didn't actually carry the rings, I carried the sand for the hourglass they filled during the ceremony. (Mama was also part of the ceremony as she read all of the readings during the ceremony- a detail that John and Kingkini forgot about and asked mama to perform just one day before the wedding.)
Better yet, this wedding gave us an excuse to get all 8 grandkids together. Don't get too excited, it will be outdated in less than a month.
I had to stay behind at the church to have pictures taken, but everyone else passed a few hours before the reception pretty much the only way you can in Paulding- with a trip to the DQ. Miss Kingkini and her family are from India, so Junie finally had the prefect excuse to wear her Precious. But mama said she could only wear it if she wore the matching jacket. Luckily, June was in an accommodating mood.

While everyone was getting their pictures taken, mama got her camera out and snap a few pictures of her own. Here's the best man, our cousin Ryan and his wife Amy.

The happy couple.
John and some groomsman. Most of these guys (and gals, too) went to school in architecture with John. So they understood and were really nice to a 5 year old boy who loved legos. In fact, I was so enamored with all the guys, I followed them around and begged mama to let me take off my vest when they all lost their jackets.
All the ladies loved me.
It was such a fun group. Mama was excited to meet everyone because she'll be traveling with some of them next January when they all go over to India for the Indian wedding celebration. And Aunt Jenni's going too!
Meanwhile, at the reception, Uncle Bran was banished to the kids' table.
I bet Uncle Kevin and Aunt Elizabeth were happy to sit far away from those kids!
When the dinner hour started, so did the polka! So we all high-tailed it out to the dance floor to dance it up! June actually never left the dance floor, except to eat some cake hours later.
Annalise had the perfect twirly dress for dancing.
Poor JoJo was the one who suffered. No naps all day was rough on a little girl. The oom-pah-pah of the polka almost lulled her to sleep.

You can't see, but June spent most of the special dances dancing by herself and chasing down other kids who didn't want to dance.
This stinker was one of them. But Oliver is much faster than June.
There were activities for all the kids when they got tired of dancing.

I got paid a considerable amount of bribe money when I expressed hesitation at my role of ring bearer. John gave me a Reds money clip, and both mama and Grandma bribed me so I didn't pick my nose during the ceremony. (I did great, by the way. I didn't get scared on my walk up the aisle and I was perfect during the ceremony.) But to seal the deal, mama gave me a new lego set. Do you think I liked it?
Poor Jo. She was so tired. After she ate more for supper than the entire Turner family combined, she just wanted to find a place to settle down with blankie. She padded around the party, looking for anyone to hold her. At one point, Grandpa was holding on to one corner of the blankie and Goergie held the other corner, walking on her own! (And mama doesn't want to think about how gross that blankie was by the end of the night. It has been washed.)

Little G didn't want to hold still for the traditional Georgianas shot.
And mama had to physically haul June out of the party. I think it's safe to say it was an awesome wedding! Congratulations, Kingkini and John!
