We packed up the van for our long summer trip up to Ohio. First stop- Lake Waynoka, about an hour east of Cincinnati. We were dropping mama off for Miss Susan's bachelorette party. And we were so excited when we realized the lake was only 2 miles from Great grandma and Great Grandpa Cooper's house!
We'd never visited their house before and they hadn't yet met Georgie. (We last saw then last July.) Surprisingly, wiggly Georgie was happy and content to hang out on Great-Grandma's lap for the whole visit.
We played outside and looked at the cows, but I didn't want to get close. Henry got up the nerve to go in with the cows, but refused to ride on the tractor.
The best part of the trip was when Grandma showed us a picture of PawPaw as a baby. He made Sadie's arm rolls look thin! Thanks for having us, Grandma and Grandpa!
We headed up to Marion while mama stayed behind to help Miss Susan celebrate the end of her single life. They spent most of the day floating around in tubes in the lake. That sounds like my kind of party.
