Mr. and Mrs. Budnick- Georgie.

Mama and papa drive us to Indiana for the express reason of leaving us there while they went to Middletown to celebrate the wedding of our very favorite Mister Paul and Miss Susan.
I guess that Mrs. Susan now.
The rehearsal dinner was at a crazy delicious Spanish restaurant. Don't they look happy?

Mama and papa both got to spend all weekend with the bride and groom, helping them get ready and documenting the day in excruciating photo detail. How many people are lucky enough to say they got to bunk up with a Turner the night before their wedding? Budnicks, you're just that special to us.

Mama got choked up twice the whole weekend. Once was after Miss Susan was all decked out in her wedding dress and waiting impatiently to see Miss Paul. The other time was when Miss Susan declared to her whole family that mama was something of a connoisseur of regional fast food. That really meant a lot that you said that, Suze. And now, she had one more regional delicacy under her belt after a delicious pre-wedding tuck-in of pizza and steak sandwiches at Richard's.

Mama had to read a poem in front of everyone during the ceremony while papa had the job of best man. He was in charge of both rings and he and mama couldn't resist recreating the movie poster from the Lord of Rings. (Frodo, don't wear the ring...)

The ceremony went off without a hitch, except Mister Paul and the priest were busy discussing Abraham Lincoln in the vestibule and missed their cue to come out when the ceremony started.

Mr. and Mrs. Budnick.

This wedding was special because Mister Paul is the last of the 601 guys to get married. It was also special for mama because it was the first time since she and papa got married that she hasn't been pregnant at a 601 wedding.

Liz and Zac were married 4 years ago when mama was pregnant with June.
Adam and Margan were married last summer when mama was very great with me.
Mama was quite pleased to not be that pregnant designated driver this time.

The reception was so much fun.
There was dancing.
And cake.

Please take a moment to zoom in on this shot and take in what an adorable little kid Mister Paul was. You were cute too, Miss Suze, but those little baby glasses are just too much.
Papa gave a very funny best man speech.

Mister Paul took it well, even if most of the jokes were at his expense.
We think everyone enjoyed it.
So much that papa was encouraged by the laughter, kept telling jokes and mama almost had to tell him to wrap it up.
It was really a great weekend and mama and papa were so pleased to be a part of it.
