Easter guests!- Georgie.

Who was mama cleaning for? Our very favorite girls- Audrey and Grace! They came to spend the weekend with us (and their mom and dad). We had a very busy Friday which included two Earth Day celebrations.
For supper, we went out to our favorite family barbeque place. All you can eat chopped barbeque, tons of sides, cookies, and live bluegrass music. You can't beat it.

While mama and I sat in the rocking chairs up front, the kids danced around.

On Saturday morning, the big kids went to the park for the town's Easter Egg hunt. (Seriously, another hunt?) I had to stay at home and take a nap.

As usual, June did not perform well under pressure.
After I woke up from my nap, we all went to Central for the annual Railroad Festival. Henry's been counting down the days for months. He marked it on his calendar as "TF" (for Train Festival.) He was not amused when mama would ask if we were going to the Tupperware Fair this weekend.
Here's our first try at a group shot- Grace, me, Henry, Audrey, and June.
We love this festival because it's very small and most everything is free. Including this wagon train. We stood in line while the driver was at lunch and we were the first to get a ride.
See you later, mama!
This is our favorite shot from the weekend. Hard to believe that Gracie is only 4 months older than Henry. They are both growing up quickly. Usually Henry and Grace together means mass chaos and terrible noise. But as they've gotten older, there were actually a few moments here and there when they played together and worked on projects without driving everyone crazy. It was wonderful.

The best part of the festival was the church that had set up an ice cream sundae bar. For 25 cents, you got a plastic stadium full of ice cream and your choice of toppings. Amen to that.
