Blurry shots- mama.

It's been an exciting week here "face-wise." but no one can be bothered to hold still for pictures, so be prepared to examine these blurs for evidence.
First up, June had a run-in with a plastic dinosaur at school. We're not sure what happened, but she came out with this cut under her eye. Apparently, she didn't even cry. Which points towards brain damage, because there isn't much June isn't willing to throw a fit over at school.
Georgie popped a tooth last week (March 10th- for the baby book), which explained why she's been chewing on everything like mad!
I made delicious pancakes with homemade granola. Henry bit into one and asked for me to never add granola again because it hurt his teeth. Turns out he had a loose tooth! Am I the only one that worries that a loose tooth isn't a natural occurrence, but maybe that we've done such a bad job that our kids' teeth are literally rotting out? Here's hoping that's not that case.

Anyhoo, it's Henry's bottom front left tooth that's wiggling. He is SO EXCITED about it. He's called everyone and probably tells his friends at school 15 times a day. He swears he's the first in his class to have a loose tooth.

June, in some excitement over a My Little Pony, fell off her chair and acquired this spectacular black eye. It's so well placed that it looks like eye makeup and is actually quite becoming now that it's green.
It obviously doesn't bother her.
We popped open Georgie's mouth to get a picture of that new tooth and were shocked when there wasn't one, but TWO teeth! What a big kid!

Finally, in mouth-related news, it's a good thing mama got a picture of that wiggly tooth, because it's gone now! An especially crunchy apple must have done the trick, because John suddenly yelled "Henry, there's a hole in your mouth!" Sure enough, his tooth was gone. Either he swallowed it or spit it out in the yard thinking it was an apple seed. Luckily, the boy next door lost 4 teeth before he actually retained one, so we were prepared for the next step.
The tooth fairy accepts petitions in lieu of an actual tooth.
In case you can't read it, Henry's letter reads:
"Dear Tooth Fair
y I lost a tooth. So
bye. Henry"

The smiley face must have been a good touch, because even without the tooth, Henry found a dollar bill under his pillow! He can't want to lose another tooth!
